Co-lead Data for Good
David Chan
David Chan is a Co-Lead of the not-for-profit engagement pillar at Data for Good Calgary. He has been working in the Alberta not-for-profit data and tech spaces for over a decade and has been volunteering with Data for Good for almost as long. David is passionate about the potential of AI and ML and how these technologies can be used for the betterment of society. His data (s)heros are Hilary Mason, DJ Patil, and Jake Porway. David is currently working with the Alberta Machine Learning Institute as a Product Lead and before that led a data science team at Cybera.
