**Abstract**: In this seminar, different forms of AI, its benefits, caveats, and what is trending are introduced. It continues with a high-level primer on how to embark on a Data Analytics journey which highlights the importance of good data along with popular design patterns. Using the ideas presented, a rapid prototype is then developed to introduce the concept of using Large Language Models to query everyday data sets.
**Speaker's bio**: Akbar Ahmed, an Advanced Analytics Data Scientist at Arcurve, brings nearly two decades of professional experience, including a decade dedicated to cross-industry data science in sectors such as Retail, Fintech, Education, and Energy. Holding a Masters in Business Enterprise Analytics with a specialization in Big Data and Machine Learning from the National University of Singapore, Akbar seamlessly integrates his prior software engineering background with a diverse tech stack. His practical expertise in applying AI/ML models enables the delivery of optimized enterprise-level end-to-end analytical systems, with a focus on intelligent process automations (IPA) and user-friendly Business Intelligence (BI) analysis & insights.
A strong advocate for the transformative power of digitization, Akbar believes it enhances efficiency, boosts productivity, and fosters unparalleled innovation. Outside the professional realm, he enjoys engaging in outdoor activities, sports, and listening to music.
